Fedora 12 Nvidia Problem Solved !

If you want to Install Nvidia under fedora 12 then follow the procedure below  :-

Procedure :-
Open the terminal :-
#> su
[put in your password]
# >  gedit /etc/grub.conf
1. Add this to the end of the kernel line in /etc/grub.conf  :
“rdblacklist=nouveau vga=0×318″
2.Terminal  Command:
su -c “rpm -Uvh http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-stable.noarch.rpm http://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfree/fedora/rpmfusion-nonfree-release-stable.noarch.rpm”
3.Terminal  Command :
“yum update”
4. For 64bit Users:
“yum install kmod-nvidia xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-libs.i686 [...]

Install Skype Under Ubuntu 9.10

Follow the step given below :
Open Terminal and Type :
For gnome users :

gksudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

For KDE users :

gksudo kwrite /etc/apt/sources.list.

Add the line below :

deb http://packages.medibuntu.org/ karmic free non-free

VLC Media Player Under Fedora 12

Its very easy to install VLC 1.0.3 or any new version of vlc in Fedora 12 .
These are simple three steps you have to write in the Terminal of Linux.
Opening the terminal :-

System Tool –> Terminal
Open it
Paste the below three commands one by one..

$su root
$rpm -ivh http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-stable.noarch.rpm
yum install vlc
