Microsoft are offering 3 primary versions of Windows 7, called Home Premium, Professional and Ultimate (although there are some extra editions for some
countries). To help decide which suits you best, there is a handy chart which outlines the features available in each edition.

Home Premium Edition

This edition is well suited to the vast majority of users that use Windows 7, as it includes all of the major features that are expected of a Windows operating system (including media player, networking support, etc…). If you don’t require any advanced networking features or improved backward compatibility.

Professional Edition

Some high-end and power users will appreciate the advanced networking abilities of the Professional Edition, and the ability to host RDP sessions. One major feature is the ability to run applications in a seamless virtual XP environment.

Ultimate Edition

This edition includes all of the features that lesser editions do, but also includes the ability to use multiple languages as well as several security features such as BitLocker and AppLocker. This won’t be of use to the average home user, but will appeal to some customers.

Google official made announcement of Google Chrome Operating System OS. Google Chrome OS will be open source and a lightweight operating system that will initially be targeted at netbooks. Later this year they will open-source its code and netbooks running Google Chrome OS will be available for consumers in the second half of 2010. Google will be working closely with open source partners to develop games, applications and adding features to the chrome architecture. This will be one big movement in the Operating system market. Google is know for its FREE work, being open source like Linux will give maximum leverage to Google to expand its market share. Google Chrome OS will run on both x86 as well as ARM chips. Google Chrome running within a new windowing system on top of a Linux kernel. That means developers can now build apps for chrome OS which will be platform indepenpendent and run across all operating systems.Google Chrome OS is a new project, separate from Android. so you still can’t download Google Chrome operating system OS yet but we will keep you posted.

Here it is:

1. Close your browsers
2. Check where the plugin is installed: run regedit and go to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Google\Google Talk Plugin key. Look for
string value “install_dir” – there you’ll find a path to the plugin’s
install path. Write it down! :)
3. Uninstall the plugin from Control Panel
3. Go to your install path
4. Delete uninstalled files: probably not everything was unistalled -
in my case a log file packed with bz2 extension was left and a
“googletalkplugin_port” file(!) – DELETE THEM!
5. Get a fresh copy (just in case :)) of Google video chat plugin
setup
6. Install the plugin once again

In my case it helped! :) Previously I have also reinstalled the plugin
and even my browser many times and it didn’t help. But deleting these
files helped. I hope after a system restart my video chat in google
will still be working! :)
