Youtube-dl is a handy tool for download YouTube video file onlinux.It  allows you to download a YouTube video directly as a .flv file which can be played with mplayer or VLC.

Download the Youtube-dl:http://www.nuxified.org/system/files/youtube-install.sh

Installation:

1.right-clicking on the file, then “properties”->”permissions”->check “allow executing file as a program”
2. Run the youtube-install script in the terminal as root (e.g. sudo ./youtube-install.sh)

Usage

It is very easy to use the Youtube-dl just run youtube-dl URL where “URL” is your YouTube video URL.

I m having Mac Os and Vista Quite Complete Feel On Xp.

System Requirements :

• Windows Xp Sp2.
• 512 MB RAM Minimum.

Installation Procedure.

If u Have already Xp Installed on Your System ,Then Follow The Steps Below :

1. Vista Transformation Pack 8.0.1 :Download (Stable Version) and Install it.

After Restarting :-

2.LeopardXP Style:Download and Extract On Desktop.

Now Open C:\Windows (where Your Windows is installed Now):

C:\Windows\Resources\Themes

and

Copy the Folder You have recently Extracted at Your Desktop in the Themes Folder.

Note :The File Name of the Extracted Folder Should be Same as of the Visual Style File Present in that Folder.

Now Right Click on the Desktop ->Properties->Appearance->Open the Windows and Button Combo Box and The File name should be Present in the Combo Box and Click on that and Apply->Ok That’s it.

Now After The Above Task…

There is a Need of “Dock” Main Feature that the Mac is Having..

I Like the Stardock ObjectDock the Most.

Object Dock :Download and Extract.

Now Click on the Shortcut Icon Placedas a Object Dock on the Desktop.

t’s funny how some people react when I tell them I use Linux. Sometimes they express the sentiment that I must be very computer savvy. Other’s get caught up in all the brand loyalty hype and still some have never heard of Linux! I kid you not! The truth of the matter is that I switched partly because Windows no longer offered me any challenges and reliability became an issue. The most common question I get asked whenever I present a public speaking seminar is “Why did you switch to Linux?”Well… for all those who asked, here’s the long winded answer.

I’ve been following all the debate and divided opinion across the net and the blogosphere about how the 3 operating systems square up to each other. I find this an interesting debate, interesting in the fact that Linux is actually being considered as an alternative to the big two. In my, humble opinion, I think alot of this has to do with the new focus on ‘eye-candy’. One of Vista’s huge new features is the Aero visual interface. Now I’ve seen it in action, as well as Mac OS X’ interface, and I honestly think that neither of them compare with my Compiz-Fusion enhanced Ubuntu desktop.

Close on the heels of the recent directive to telecom operators to provide for lawful interception of Blackberry and other encrypted messaging services, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has now asked Social Networking sites based outside India to fall in line.

“Sites such as Orkut and Facebook allow for heavily encrypted exchanges of information”, a highly placed source at the MHA told Tech2.com. MHA officials are believed to be especially worried about the phenomenon of “scraps” and “pokes” respectively on these two sites.

“Imagine if applications such as SuperPoke fell into the hands of anti-national and anti-social (no pun intended) elements”, remarked a senior MHA official who did not wish to be named. “The consequences could be disastrous, especially considering the lack of sufficient monitoring of Indian users’ walls,” he warned.

Spokespersons for both Google, which owns Orkut.com and Facebook declined to comment till they received any directives in writing. However along with Yahoo, AOL and MSN, both companies were adamant that “the privacy of our users is of the greatest importance to us” though special considerations were being made for “countries in which the growth potential of the market outweighed the prospect of challenging draconian security laws”.
